Once an exam is complete, the instructor or designated reviewer makes the final Passed/Flagged decision. To begin, enter the proctoring portal.

Upon successful login, you will be directed to the Proctoring page. Here you will see the recorded sessions from all your examinees.

Select the examinee from the list, and then you will see:

  • Examinee’s full recorded session.

  • Exact date and time when the examinee started the exam and submitted the exam.

  • Duration of the Exam

  • Status of the Exam

  • Exam rules on the right side of the proctored video

Events:

If you would like to check the associated video for the event, click on the event in the Events History table. You can watch the time-stamped video to double-check the proctor's decision to make a final decision yourself.

Making your final decision:

Action buttons are available for you to change the Session Status to PASSED or FLAGGED.

  • PASS SESSION: You have passed the finished session - there were either no events or the events that occurred did not meet the threshold for rejecting the exam. Only you can make this decision as an instructor or designated reviewer. This status will be sent back to Rosalyn within Canvas testing program platform so the examinee is aware. This is not an indication of a passing grade.

  • FLAG SESSION: You have determined that at least one Rosalyn-generated flagged event did not satisfy the exam rules. This status will be sent back to Rosalyn within Canvas or the testing program platform, so the examinee is aware.
