Streams are necessary to have proctoring working. Currently, streams that Rosalyn is using are:

If there is any stream missing, proctoring will not work, and the session will be marked as Incomplete.

There is an unlimited number of reasons why it can happen that some stream from the examinee's computer is not streaming. Some of the reasons are streams are blocked by antivirus, firewall, by internet service provider, there is an issue with driver, device…

The organization has an option if they want to allow students to continue if there is a missing stream, or they want to stop them and prevent them from starting an exam if there is a missing stream. The setting will apply to all quizzes in the organization.

If an organization decides to prevent examinees from starting an exam with the missing stream, examinees will be notified if that happens and will have the option only to close the application.

An organization can decide if they want to turn on AI ID check for examinees, and can choose the following options to be turned on or off:

Changing the setting will reflect on examinee’s view, and they will see rules how they are set by the instructor, however, since this is Lock Down mode, there are no changes in behaviors. Since there is no proctoring examinees will not be warned if they are doing something that is now allowed, neither instructors will be notified if some examinee was doing something that is not allowed.

Based on the selfie photo taken and ID photo, AI will do a comparison and decide is the same person is on the photo and ID. In order to do so, biometrics are being used. No biometrics data are saved, they are just used to confirm identity, and then discarded.

In this phase, the comparison is done only in the onboarding when photos are being taken. In the next phase, we will add one more comparison, and that is when the exam starts so we can compare the person sitting in front of the webcam, and photo ID.
