Enhanced Identity Verification
During the Exam Pre-flight Rosalyn prompts examinees to take a photo of their Picture ID (after they take a selfie photo).
After the Picture ID photo is taken, it will now be sent to Rosalyn's AI service for verification.
As of this release, Rosalyn's AI service will verify the following:
Is there a card displayed in the photo?
Is there text on the provided card?
Is text readable, or is it blurry or out of focus?
A Checking photo... message will appear while Rosalyn's AI is processing the request:
If the provided Picture Id fails any of the above checks, the examinee will be asked to retake the photo of their Picture Id:
If the provided Picture Id passes all of the above checks, the examinee will be allowed to click the Next button and continue with the Pre-flight process.
The provided selfie and picture Id photos will (as before) be attached to the finished session.
User Name Validation
When creating a new user, Rosalyn's name validation rules have been modified. Now, first name and last name's may contain as little as a single character.
Proctoring Portal - Incomplete - Stream Missing
We introduced new a Finished Session status value: Incomplete - Stream Missing. When, for any reason, a session doesn’t have a video, Rosalyn now ensures that it will still be visible on the proctoring portal (but without no video). This allows Proctoring Portal users to get a more complete understanding of the possible status values for their examinee's finished sessions (e.g. determine if a retake should be issued)
This new status has been added to the Finished Sessions Status filtering:
