Exam Settings
Once the instructor/testing-programs select the Rosalyn proctoring type, they will be able to set some rules for a specific exam. Every time an instructor selects “Turn on proctoring,” he/she will first need to select available options (proctoring types) before proctoring is turned on.
Note: Proctoring will not be turned on until the “Confirm & Enable” button is clicked.
Select Applicable Exam Rules for Real-Time Proctoring
After clicking the “Next” button, you will have a list of rules that can be enabled. Some rules can be changed, and some are Always On. They can not be changed based on the Exam rules requirements by Rosalyn.
Rules that can be Turned Off:
Use a private test area
Face should be visible in camera view
Do not interact with others
Other materials are not allowed
Turn off noise-making devices
No additional devices allowed
Rules that are Always On and cannot be turned off by the instructor:
Only mouse, keyboard and monitor allowed
No other Apps or Browser tabs allowed
Sharing of exam content prohibited
Confirm Configuration
Once the rules are selected and clicked on the Next button, the instructors will see the screen to review and confirm the rules. In the configuration screen, rules will be sorted in the following way:
Forbidden Actions - List of Exam Rules that have been Turned on (Including Always On rules).
Permitted Actions - List of Exam Rules that have been Turned Off. Language is changed on the rules that have been turned off (Including Always Off rules).
Note: You can edit proctoring type by clicking on the gear icon near Proctoring Type, and if you want to edit the exam rules click on the gear icon near forbidden actions.
When proctoring is enabled
Instructors are always able to see which Proctoring Rules are set for the exam at any time on the exam and review/edit Exam Rules. Gear icon should be available even if examinees already take the exam.
