Multiple Authors - Instructor - Update

All instructors and administrators are able to see all quizzes that they co-authored, as well as their results from the proctoring portal.

The administrator role from Canvas is accepted as an Instructor and can perform the same capabilities as an instructor.

Lock Down - Instructor

Lock Down as an option is fully implemented and available for use by Instructors.

With the LockDown option, Instructors are creating a quiz to be delivered to examinees without proctoring. There will be no camera stream, sound stream, or screen share stream from the examinee's side.

Examinees will be able to take an exam in a safe environment without the possibility to use other applications, take screenshots, or copy/paste content of the exam

Lock Down Option Selection

When Instructors turn on Rosalyn for the quiz, from Settings they can Select Real-time proctoring or Lock Down. By default Real-time proctoring is selected.

When Rosalyn is turned on Instructor will be able to see which proctoring option is selected for the Quiz.

When students take the quiz with the Lock Down option Instructor will be able to see how many students took the quiz, and there will be No Sessions to View notification, meaning since there was no proctoring, Instructor don’t have anything to review.

Lock Down - Examinee

Regardless of which selection is done by Instructor, examinees will see it the same in the Canvas view. When they start Quiz they will be able to know from the Quiz Rules what is valid for that specific Quiz.

Lock Down Option Results

For Quizzes with the Lock Down option Proctoring for Students will be automatically Passed with the note that it was Lock Down only quiz.

Delivery Application

Option to Close Applications for Examinees

To make the experience for examinees as smooth as possible we have added an option where Rosalyn can close all not allowed applications for them.

List of Applications

In the onboarding process, the delivery application will list all active applications that the examinee has running, and that are not allowed to be running in the background.

The examinee can close those applications one by one, or can click on Need Help? button.

Close Applications for Examinee

If the examinee clicks on Need Help? Option to have Rosalyn close the applications for them will open.

Examinee can Cancel the option, or can select Close Apps, and Rosalyn will close all applications that were on the list, after the examinee confirms it is ok to do so.

We Cannot Close the Applications

If for any reason Rosalyn cannot close applications for the examinee, the examinee will be notified and will have the option to Read More which will take examinee to our Help Center with instructions how to close applications for each OS Rosalyn is supporting.
