Before the Exam:

  1. What do I need before the exam?

  2. What does Rosalyn access on my computer before or during my exam?

    • Video feed from your web camera

    • Your microphone

    • A video recording of your screen

    • Your keyboard use

    • Mouse movements

    • Any connected devices, like an additional monitor.

    • Applications and background processes on your computer

    • Your internet connectivity

  3. Does Rosalyn control any parts of my computer during an exam?

    • Prior to the exam starting, Rosalyn ensures that you have closed all other applications on your computer.

    • During the exam, Rosalyn limits your ability to copy and paste content through your mouse and keyboard

  4. Do I have to schedule a time to take my exam?

    No. You can perform a Rosalyn exam based on when iTEP makes it available.

  5. Does Rosalyn close programs and other applications for you?

    • No, Rosalyn will let you know which programs need to be closed. You will have the opportunity to go back and save documents or close any web pages or open applications.

    • Even if Rosalyn doesn't warn you about some applications, close everything that might be connected with the screen-sharing, communication, remote access, auto-correct... anything that might give an impression that you are using disallowed advantage.

    • You do have the option to let Rosalyn close your Applications for you. But, Rosalyn will never do this without you initiating the process.

  6. Does Rosalyn require a room check?
