In the new release Rosalyn has released multiple features.
Accommodations (New Feature)
Administrators can now define exam accommodations at the organization level to better support examinees who require specific testing conditions. These accommodations apply automatically to all exams within the organization, ensuring consistency and compliance with accessibility standards.
β What Are Accommodations?
Accommodations allow organizations to modify how an exam is administered without changing its content.
These settings can help meet the needs of examinees with disabilities or those who require specific support due to medical or psychological reasons.
π οΈ How to Set It Up
Accommodations are managed through the Admin Dashboard:
Go to the Learners Section
Navigate to the Accommodations section.
Add a new accommodation profile by defining the required parameters.
Assign the profile to an examinee via their email
Once set, the accommodation profile will be automatically applied to all future exams taken by that examinee.

π Data Privacy and Security
Only authorized administrators can view and assign accommodations. These settings are stored securely and comply with applicable privacy and accessibility regulations.
Detect streams lost during the session (New Feature)
Organizations now have the option to configure how stream interruptions are handled during exams.
Option 1: Allow continuation β Examinees may continue even if a stream (audio, video, or screen share) is lost.
Option 2: Disallow continuation β Examinees will be warned if a stream is lost and will have 30 seconds to reconnect before the session is terminated.
This setting provides more control over exam integrity and user experience.
New languages
Weβve expanded our list of supported languages via the Open API. To take full advantage of this, clients should send the language code that corresponds to the examinee's preference. If Rosalyn doesnβt support a submitted language, the system will fall back to a default.
Default Language Selection: Organizations can define their own default language. If not specified, English (
en-US
) will be used.
β With this setup, any new language added by Rosalyn will be supported automatically, with no need for code updates on the client side.
