Rosalyn supports any standard authentication application that supports scanning QR code or entering the code manually.
Users can enable MFA by going to the My Account section in the proctoring portal and clicking Enable MFA.
Once Enable MFA is started, the user will have the option either to scan the QR code or to enter the code into the authentication app manually. When this is done, the user will get a six-digit code from the authenticator app that should be validated by entering it here.
If the validation code is ok, MFA will be activated. When that happens the user will receive a pop-up message with the recovery code. This recovery code must be saved because it will be displayed only once. It can be used if the user cannot access the device with the authenticator app.
When MFA is activated the user will have to enter MFA code on every login after a successful password.
If the user loses the device with the authenticator, the recovery code can be used to log in. The recovery code can be used only once.
MFA can also be disabled. The user has to log in and go to My Account section to disable MFA.
